PORTION SIZE CHART

This chart is designed to give people a rough idea of how many cake
portions can be obtained from a cake.
Please note that these can only be guidelines.
To achieve the portions we have suggested the cake must be
cut as a grid regardless of it’s
shape to gain maximum portions.  If cut like a pizza, portions will be lost.
Please also note that there is a difference in sponge and fruit cake portioning
and that these portions are finger slices
intended as a gesture for your guests; not the kind of slice you would have with your afternoon tea.
