With 30 years of cake decorating experience, including 15 years of trading as Cake Magic and just over 9 years of teaching and demonstrating I can honestly say I still love my job!
Cakes are baked and decorated on the shop premises ensuring the best possible quality. Being someone with a gluten intolerance I happily bake gluten free sponges and fruit cakes to order. These days its not just Victoria sponge cakes chocolate cake and fruit cake that people want so I find myself baking Carrot, Red Velvet, Ginger, Lemon and more.
Cakes can either be made and decorated for you, or your own home made cake iced and/or decorated for you. Alternatively I can just bake the cake for you to do the rest. The choice is all yours and if you want help with any particular part of a project then advice is available too. Basically anything you want or need help with just ask.
The shop is packed full of everything you will need from hiring cake tins, cake stands and bases to icings, marzipans, flower pasts and modelling pastes, food colours, cake boards and boxes, ornaments and equipment. There’s even Cake Magic’s own fresh made Royal Icing and Butter cream as well as a selection of hand made sugar decorations ready to pop on your cake.
With a fantastic Sugar photo machine, a picture can be copied onto a thin piece of sugar for you to put on your cake, and even better, it can done whilst you wait! All you need to do is bring in your picture the size you require and it can be printed in a flash.
